If you have a look at some pre historic images of the very first mice you will see that the cable that attaches to the computer use to be the other way around (from the bottom of the mouse not the top)…check this out (http://www.computerweekly.com/PhotoGalleries/2337 45/272_30_The-first-ever-mouse.gif)… looks more like a mouse now doesn’t it.

This may be true, but unfortunatly in the first X-men film the claws were actually a real prop and they used a model arm with an air pressured system to push the claws out on close ups.
